What are the shipping rates?

Within Australia, we offer Free Shipping on all orders over $95.  Orders below $95 will have a shipping rate of $9.95, if you are after your delivery Express Post, the rate is $15.00

 

What type of wax does La Roseraie use?

We use only best quality 100% natural soy wax.  This wax is free from all nasties, such as pesticides and herbicides.  It is a vegan friendly wax and is a blend of Coconut and Pure Soy natural waxes.

 

What wicks are used in La Roseraie candles?

We use natural lead-free cotton wicks and premium wood wicks in all our candles, these are of the highest quality providing the best life to our candles.

 

How do I care for my La Roseraie candle?

When you light your candle for the very first time, make sure you allow the candle to burn all the way out to the sides of the jar.  Candles develop a 'memory'.  By allowing them to burn all the way out, will provide your candle a consistent burn each time.  

The maximum burn time for our candles is no more than 2 hours.

When extinguishing a candle, make sure you use a snuffer!  The snuffer is a really safe tool to use and will prevent wax spreading for those who tend just to blow out the candle!

When relighting your candle again, don't forget to trim the wick before lighting, this will help with an even burn.

 

Where should I store my candle?

Always store your candle in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

 

How long will my candle burn for?

This will be dependent on the size of the candle and the care.  Our smaller candles have an average burn time of 45 hours, to over 130 hours for our larger candles.

 

My candle has some surface imperfections, is is safe to use?

All our candles are hand poured using 100% natural soy wax.  There will be the occasional imperfection on the surface, this is how you know they are 100% soy wax, rather than being mass produced with nasty additives put into the wax.  Soy will at times release excess oil during temperature change - this is known as 'candle sweating'.  This does not impact the candle in anyway and will not reappear after the first burn.

The consistency of all our candles is of the utmost importance to us, each and every candle will have its own characteristics - this is the benefit of using 100% natural coco soy wax.

 

Can I reuse my jar?

Absolutely you can, our jars are designed to be reused around the home.  Once your candle has finished burning, simply wash in hot soapy water removing any leftover wax and wick.  You now have a handy jar to use at home!
